Magazine Project Truck

I recall reading an article in the early 90's. It was in one of the major car or truck magazines of the time. They took a 92 or 93 W-250 and fitted with some serious off road and towing goodies. It was a several month series of articles and I believe the name was Project Tugboat (what a great name ).



Does anyone remember this? More importantly, did a TDR member end up with it? Does anyone know where it is now?

It's in Issue 34 of TDR, it's a 2002 issue. You'd better order a back issue It covers all of the updates done to it since the Project Tugboat entrance in Four Wheeler Magazine. I'm pretty sure the original owner (Owner from Four Wheeler Magazine) still has it. You can also goto or call Four Wheeler Magazine and get a Tech report/project overview on Tugboat .

I've got seven articles Greg Whale did on "The Tug Boat" a white club cab. I believe Mr. Whale writes for TDR now,and I believe he still owns Tug Boat.
