Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I finally got my truck in the TDR Magazine. Look in your new Issue 30 under High-Mileage Trucks. For those of you wondering what my truck looks like, there it is in black-and-white, you can even see the stack. (Look close, its there) Not many other First Gens. on the page, but there is a '89 with 200+K.
On an even happier note, the other day when it dropped to 15 degrees, after the truck was warm, I shifted into fourth and hammered it. The boost needle climbed right up to my usual 19lbs. , but kept climbing, all the way up to 23lbs!! I was so happy, that I smiled and whistled all day long!! Good 'ol oxygen-rich, cold air! Now if I could only get my tires to spin in fourth gear like Big Don!
