Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) MagnaFlow 4" Exhaust

Does anyone have experience with MagnaFlow #15924 4" stainless exhaust? Any drone complaint etc??

A friend has the exhaust system on his 99' and not much louder then stock inside. Still sounds good outside.

Got One and its noisy - I pull a 32 ft 5th wheel and when its in the kitchen (old farm saying) ya darn near need head phones to carry on a conversation. Did I say I am happy with it; Yep - it gives ya a few more ponies and I need all of em I can get!

Had mine on 'bout two months sounds as good as it looks, no complaints. Had it done at a shop I use because I trust 'em, they say never a callback so it's Magnaflow they use if you want a 4". 575. 00 OTD Mike

Have had mine for a year and love it, you can hear it in the cab, but it is a diesel after all!

I've had mine for two years now, got it from Jardine and I like it a lot. To me it's not to loud, have the Magnaflow muffler and 5" chrome extension. I asked Jerry about a straight pipe to replace the muffler and he said that it would be loud so get ready. I decided to stay with the muffler.

Have had mine for about 8 months. Was very easy to install - did it in my driveway - I looks good and sounds great. Last Exhaust I'll ever have to buy for this truck anyway.

Put one on Christmas day 2003, took a few hours. Have a sawsall on hand to remove the old one. This year I installed a Banks brake and changed out down and intermediate pipe to Banks. I was very happy that after I cut the tac welds that I had done to the system, I was able to wiggle it around a little and get it to come back apart. The Magnaflow system that my step son gave me had the 3. 5 inch down pipe, the rest was 4". It was almost as quiet as the stock system inside the truck, little louder outside. Lowered EGT towing by 100-150 degrees. NO drone. SNOKING

Had mine on for about a year, after about 10 months not loud enough. I removed the muffler and now the neighbors really love me. The noise in the cab is tollerable at best.
