Loves requires the magnet. I just got mine yesterday. For those who use it, how do you store it after use. I hear def is impossible to clean up?

Just wipe it down as well as you can. Ammonia crystals will form on it, but it won't hurt anything. To truly clean the DEF off, you can always use DISTILLED DE-MINERALIZED water to dissolve the ammonia crystals into solution again and wipe it down as best as you can.

This is interesting to know. I'm 3 days past my 1 month ownership and my truck is about 1/4 tank on the DEF so I'll be filling it soon...

If It's hot in Arizona this time of year, wait until you get an EVIC warning about low def.

Hot weather might degrade the DEF in the tank (shortens it's life).

If you tow alot, fill it. If your truck will be sitting or going short distances, wait on filling the DEF.

Also, if your truck was sitting on the dealer lot, the DEF in the tank might already be old. Let it go until you get an EVIC warning.

You don't want to mix old DEF with fresh DEF

That was my thought, wait until most of it is out of the tank. My truck was a special order, and didn't even wait at the train depot for a ride to the dealer, my sales guy actually picked it up since I was heading out of town and wasn't going to be back for a couple weeks, so it's fresh.

Truck spends about 30% of it's life towing, but only 7,500lbs the vast majority of that time. I'm heading out on a road trip on Saturday to get my short bed to long bed conversion done on my mega cab so figured before that trip would be a good time to get it filled. Yes, I plan on posting pics of the process. :)
