magnetic field increases HP

Anyone need a pump?

test

I knew an old guy that used to live around the corner from us when we were kids that used to spray WD-40 on his hands a rub it in. Claimed it helped his arthritis,

I'm gonna run outside and do an experiment and see if I spray that on my fuel line if it will help the fuel flow better... be right back,,,,:D

My buddy Ron Reidiger, who runs Reidiger's Antique Auto Junkyard, in Diamond, Mo. swears his wife uses WD-40 to spray on grease stains before she washes his clothes. Says it works real good.

I use Ether starting spray to kill chiggers & ticks on my legs. Works great.

I am ready to start marketing a high performance flux capacitor (the device that makes time travel possible). Vehicles in the Southern hemisphere should have the polarity reversed or fuel economy will drop along with horsepower.

Please specifiy if you need a Northern Hemisphere or Southern model.

I've been thinking on this all weekend.

If a magnet effects the fuel, why wouldn't it 'lock and hold' the particles? And then they wouldn't get thru the injection pump.

If there is any truth to this then we could hold a magnet 1/8 to 1/4 inch from some fuel and see it pick up fuel. Anyone interested in some 'home work'???

Not me, I'll go have a laugh and a beer!!!!

Put some real strong magnets one your front bumper and tailgate a big truck. This will increase your mileage SIGNIFICANTLY. A side benefit to this method is that if you tailgate close enough, you can save wear and tear on your brakes by relying on the vehicle in front of you to slow you down.

So, if I wrap a coil around the body of my truck, I could magnetize the whole rig, right?

I drive 30 miles each way to work, along a north-south line. So I'm thinking if I polarized my truck right, I should get increased pull toward my destination. Then I just need to reverse polarity on the coil for the trip back.

Now I'm thinking...

Oh yea, and I better have a kill switch - maybe hooked into my exhaust brake circuit so that I'm not braking against the pull of the magnet, otherwise I'll wear my brakes out.

Magnets are a pretty weird sience... There might be something here, if you have a strong enough electro-magnetic coil you can make anything weightless and just float in air, I've seen it done with a mouse and a spider!

Magnets rule!!!!

Without magnetic fields we would still be living in the 1700's era.

I don't know about the fuel issue but,we use + and - to clean the drinking water. Alum is positive charge and lime is negative charge and together they trap (or coagulate) the dirt in the raw(untreated) water.

No magnetetic fields= No starters,MRI ,mag-lev trains,And no air-conditioning.

Magnets RULE.

I still don't understand how gravity works.

Oo.

Here is more fuel for the fire. This is a documented story, he claimed to have (re)discovered the method the Egyptians (whatever) used to build the pyramids. It is also claimed he used magnetism to lift the stones.

For the record, the only magnets I use are to pull metal shavings out of my gear oil i. e. , the ones in my maghytec diff cover.

I'm not blowing the theory off. I think that magnets may be useful in obtaining laminar flow of the fuel. Laminar flow would completely eliminate adgitation in the fuel and deliver more fuel on the intake as a result. But is the fuel magnetized. No. I don't think so. It's like microwaves. They are passed through magnets prior to transmission (depending on the orientation of the voltage field and the magnetic field) to compress the beam and try to keep the beam spread down. This may work with fuel. I don't know.

magnets!?!

I first read about this during the 70s oil crises. Later, I was involved with the development of the, then named, NMR, nuclear magnetic resonance machines, now known as MRI scanners. There is a very small effect but only with extreemly powerful magnetic cross polarization. Read again... a very small effect with EXTREEMLY POWERFUL magnets. The magnets used to produce this effect were the ones we used to make the magnetic fields in the MRI machines. Back then, they were as big as the basement in Cory Hall U. C. Berkeley. Now, they will fit in a cargo carrier pulled by a semi.

On a side note, most auto and truck manufacturers are working very hard to increase the the mileage produced by their vehicles as required by cafe requirements. Don't you think that if they could increase the mileage of any measureable amount with the use of 2$ worth of magnets, they would?!?

Warning!

If any of you experiment with these magnets in a significant way, be sure you do not drive within 2 miles of a hospital or healthcare facility which houses a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine.

These machines contain huge magnets which could multiply the magnetic effect on your trucks engine.

The torque increase alone could cause the engine to rip itself from the motor mounts.

However, the mpg increase could be huge, possibly approach a perpetual motion machine. Only problem is you would probably have to stay within a 2 mile radius of the MRI to maintain the boost.

Don't say I didn't warn you. Please do not play around with magnets if you are not experienced.

Well, no kidding. That would explain the Ford Ranger I saw stuck to the outside wall of Poudre Valley Hospital the other day - and up at the third floor, no less.

:D

While driving past Greensburg today I thought I saw a UFO, but now I realize that it was a Dodge Ram Diesel driven by a TDR member and it was orbiting the Westmoreland hospital. The guy kept holering something that now I know was "how do I get away from the hospital. :D :D

I only know of one "magnetic field" that will help increase power. If it is extended to over 90ms it really makes your truck smoke and go fast :)
