Mail Order Lift Pump

Need a lift pump but do not want to pay $350 Canadian for it from Cummins. Anyone suggest a mail order company?

Summit Racing has the higher flow rated one for around $80 US. I think it is a 4600 HP or 4601 HP.

Is this one a replacement for the stock one, or is a a "make fit" unit? I haven't replaced a lift pump yet.

Kwick Kurt had one on Ebay for $100 and shiping new in box.

Same mounting studs and dimensions as the stock lift pump for the exception of the harness connection.



Most use this pump as a pusher or mount it near the fuel tank to eliminate a failing stock lift pump.

Not quite - the fitting for the fuel line connections are different in addition to the wiring harness. The carter pump that's sold on the aftermarket uses NPT fittings. The factor OEM pump uses straight fitting with banjo bolts. So it's not a direct drop in replacement.
