Mail-Outlook Express question

On the Inbox,when I put the arrow on the subject it is immediately displayed. Is there a way to set it so it has to be double clicked before the content is displayed? Thanks for any and all responsed. The only dumb question is the one that is not asked.

I think you are talking about what is called the preview pane.



This is typically at the bottom of the window. (I hate it)



You can control it view the main tool bar 'VIEW' and look for the item 'LAYOUT'. On that box, uncheck the 'Show preview pane'



That should make it go BYE BYE.

Naturally with all of Bill Gates' software, my version might be a bit different than yours, but this should help you look for the control to kill the preview pane.
