hello how is everyone? I’m in the process of rebuilding a 5.9. I got new main bearing cap bolts and installed them with the procedure in the service manual which was 37-44-59-90*. I was looking for the lower water inlet bolt torque spec and I came across someone had posted that procedure is for previously used bolts and stated the procedure for new bolts is 89- loosen completely - 44-63-120*. The second procedure was listed as an 07.5-16 procedure but I believe the bolts are the same. I couldn’t find that anywhere except from the site it was on. (Not here). I think I’m just doing the first one but I was hoping someone could shed some light on this. Thank you.

Thank you. Those are the numbers I’ve seen for those years too. Seeing that post just shook my confidence, and made me question what I was doing. I’m going to leave them as they are. Thank you for your help
