Okay, I'm really confused. I got a maintenance book with my new truck that has schedule A and B. A says 7500 miles between oil changes and B says 3750. On a Cummins site I saw 7500 and 15000 intervals based on driving/towing/etc. Did I get a gas engine book with mine or does DC want me to follow A and B in this book?

Thanks for the help!!!

Wel I'm not exactly sure if I'm right, but if you look at the A schedule it shows teh oil changes at 3,xxx for the california engines only, on that page, If you go to the next page for 7500 miles it has you change the oil on all other engines.

There is a symbol next to the oil change that indicates which engine should have the oil changed at that time.

OIL CHANGE TIME INTERVAL

I am not sure either about oil change intervals for non California

models. Is it 15000 12 months for schedule A or 15000 6 months?

Main Sched.

Look on Page 350 of Owners Manual. HO Motor(305HP) is designated with a Diamond. It says schedule B oil change is every 7500 miles. In maint. book look at the middle of the page it say will Tier 1(305HP is HO Motor)is designated with a black diamond. Everywhere you see the Black diamond that when you change it(7500 miles schedule B). I hope this helps.
