Major engine differences between older and newer

Can someone please tell me what the major drive line differences are between the 92/93 trucks and 94/97 trucks? I know about the smaller intercooler, smaller air inlet tubes, radiator, battery but what about pumps, injectors, turbo size etc? When was the last year for the VE pump?
