Thanks for the replies, I'm going to try and ride with Katdiesel sometime this week and after that I think I'm either going to get a EZ or Comp. I will get the transmission tweaked and then I will get the injectors. Although I will probly change my mind ten times in the next week:D

ez and comp

i'm still a relative "newbie". i've been following the discussions about the various boxes, and still don't have them straight in my mind. does the ez ONLY advance the timing? i read it also has a "boost fooler" integrated in it. does it not add fuel? if i install a comp but don't connect the pump wire as suggested, it doesn't add fuel--just change the timing? if i put on a comp including the pump wire, will the stock ETC turbo keep the egts down? gauges are next on my list ... . sorry about all the quextions, but i can't answer my questions from the Edge website... thanx!!

do what i did...

Just go with the comp, and leave that last wire off. Be sure to ground it too though.

The stock transmission will not be able to hold a set of stage 2 injectors. It will not be able to hold the power of the EZ COMP if you connect the last wire. This way if you remember, you have a much better shot of keeping the warrenty, and can have a much better control of the level you have it on. You can change it from the cab insted of having to do it from under the hood.

I was split just like you before the Texas Rally, I wanted the set of used BD 2's that they took out of one guys truck, but am glad I got this COMP box insted. With the pump wire off, it is stronger then an EZ it think.
