Making a 2500 srw into a drw

I am thinking about turning my 95 2500 srw into a duel rear wheel setup, more for looks than anything. The extra plate costs for a true 3500 duelly are not worth the extra expence and insurance. What is involved besides adding the extended fenders. Cheers Mike T

Start with a wider rear axle.

You COULD go 2 ways with this. 1, This Gizbot And a set of Theese to finish it off and call it christmas.



OR



Grab yourself a set of front hub extenders etc (That way you do not have to carry 2 spare tires) and grab a DANA 80 hybred with drums and all if ya can and still ya need a set of fenders. A few buddies , beer , and your choice of cigarettes and or cigars. OR grab a duallie bed from an aoutfitter in your area or the TDR classafieds.

There are a couple threads about some perverse fellows going the other way - a DRW to a SRW. You may be able to swap what you need from them.
