trying not to insult me , then asking for a REAL MOTORHEAD ?????
tilesetter , i'm not to insulted , i'm laughing to hard , look at the last line of my signature ...
i have a 1969 superbee that is my OTHER toy , i've had a couple 69 roadrunners , a 72 duster , 56 chevy , 73 Z28 , 70 dart ... i live , eat and sleep anything that is driven by an internal combustion engine . i have gotten my ram to go from 18. 5 to 14. 38 , all work done pretty much by me . insulted ... no ...
anyway , its before TDC , NOT after , DC was nice enough to retard the timing of the cummins to help emissions ??? , rob our power and kill our fuel mileage ... you would have seen timing changes like you saw . on a gasser a distributor can have as much as 30 degrees , or more of mechnical advance , then another 10 plus with the vac canister , when you are cruising down the highway , you could have total advance as much as 50 degrees combined ...
anyway , back to the topic .
