making lead shot

anybody make their own lead shot for shotguns? do you use a factory made shot maker or did you make your own? i shoot trap and thought of making my own shot because that is what seems to be the most expensive part of it. i seen the littleton shot makers for sale but they are a little expensive, i dont shoot that much to really pay for it in a few years, i dont know if there is much of a market for me to sell it around here. thanks

Seems I recall hearing about a method that involved dripping molten lead into water. Get the height and drip rate just right, and properly sized and shaped shot is produced.
