Malfunction Indicator Light

I just saw the light on the dash (small engine block), read the manual which said I needed to see a dealer.



I hit the on-off ignition three times and saw this code:



P 1693



P DONE





Next time I started the truck, the malfunction light was out.



Does anyone know what that \code means, and is my truck OK now?

Manual say's.................

A fault has been generated in the companion engine control module.



or



A "companion DTC" was set in both the ECM and PCM.



Basically there should be some other code for a fault. Some faults reset themselves. So maybe that's what happened and this code does not. But I'm just guessing on the latter part.
