Mallory Comp 250 lift pump?

Does anyone know anything about the Mallory Comp 250 lift pump (factory set at 16 PSI)? (Part #5250) Does anyone have one? Do you like it? Do you have to have a seperate return line to the tank with this pump? Do you have to use a regulator with it?

I'm starting to explore a new lift pump. Is the a better on out there?

Big Bob--I don't think anyone has tried it, but it says that it's built for the professional racer for all out racing applications--so I have my doubts that it could withstand continuous duty--we know the Mallory 140 has worked for over a year and Articat talked to the Summit people about their pump and is using it as we speak--my Barry Grant(BG220HR) crapped out after 2 months--some guys are using the Holley 815, but with our power I don't like it(I'm using it right now before I decide my next pump move) and possibly the same can be said of the HP Carter pump--this is still new territory so I don't think there is a definitive answer--chris
