hello everyone, I have had my mallory mount on for about four weeks and it keeps coming loose:eek:   has anyone else had this happen, I'm sure the stock air box nut's are not the way to go, any good remedies, I sure could use some or the mount might have to go!!!:{ Thanks Don

I used standard hex nuts with washers and lock washers... . No problem here. You might try some locktite on the threads as well.

mallory mount

I drilled a 1/8 hole in the upright side and used a short bunge to the inside of the fender. Works for me. also gives it some stability Jim

:) I use vacuum-line plugs. They are readily available, come in a box with multiple sizes included, and both male/female types in those sizes. I think it was the 3/16 female that I used. They screw on nicely, hold the plate down, and make a nice cushion for the filter.
