well i've been just to lazy , i still have my carter 4601HP mounted in the stock location and using factory voltage signal , no relay , factory lines to the pump and factory pickup , only a measly 409. 6 hp to the ground  . . / waiting for it to puke so i will fix it right i guess .

glad to see you guys going with a lower GPH pump and not a 220gph , the factory fuel filter only flows about 45gph , so its a restriction that would cause you problems if you were running a 220 pump without a return to the tank .

a correction , the testing bill and i did showed 30 gph going back to the tank at WOT , this was with 0 psi all the way up to 6 psi at the injection pump inlet at WOT 400hp plus to the ground . this was even with a -10 bulkhead screwed into the bottom of the tank with a -10 feeding the pump mounted in front of the tank .

opening up the restrictions of the banjo bolts is a step in the right direction , better yet just ditch them all together unless you want the stock look , then ray's bolts are the way to go ... boy did i drop the ball on that ...

so wayne you are ok with your setup , i like the racor with the water seperator , maybe i will add that one , then i won't have to undo the mods i did to my factory fuel filter .

big bob your setup looks good , i need to do something similar ( i would like a 60gph filter though) and put a box around it to keep the road salt and such off it .

remember , pressure is a restriction to flow , the more the pressure the bigger the restriction ... the VP44 IS the restriction , its still only going to return a set amount back to the tank ... .

John I love my setup. You can get the filter from Summit Racing $39 , and the replacement cartridge is $5 cant beat that.

Also its a nice looking compact filter.
