Well, I'll be 68 in June. I can just barely remember when I thought that was over the hill.

I try to act young once in a while, but it sure hurts the next day!!

Yo Yogi!

You must be getting old, you logged into the wrong forum! That's OK, we will recognize your seniority and let you slide.

I think I owe you lunch, when you coming back through Salina?

Sure wish my exhaust sounded like yours, truck exhaust that is... :-laf :-laf :-laf

Your right! Ooops. Senior moment. I'll fix it.

Your not a senior, I'm a year older than you and still consider myself young, my body proves me wrong a lot lately but my mind says I can still do those things I used to do, it just takes longer to recover :-laf :-laf

I'll bet that does not happen anytime soon. Rumor has it that you have some 1st Gen parts hanging around, you say you are going to Texas? What was that dog's name at your place???? :-laf :-laf :-laf Glen

SWEET!!!... .....

There is a few of you guy's older 'N me..... :D:D

BTW, you guys is all wacked if you ask me..... ;)

pb..... see, if I was a bit younger I'd know what this thread was about... . ;)

Well, I know Cade is not very old, I think he's in his teens. Its been a couple days ago since I was a teen. I just turned 29 in March. I fear I'm getting a little older, now when I look at the Playmate in Playboy, they are almost always younger then me. And its getting to be by 10 years sometimes.

Who here has owned their first gen the longest? I've "owned" mine since 95, dad bought it new in late 92.

Michael

Got my first gen new in Jan '93. Just passed the 13 year mark!! :) :) :)

And for the age thing, when you hit 40 your old enough to know how it's done and young enough to do it!! NEVER stop!

i just hit 36 last sunday!

i bought my 93 w250 new (well it had 165 miles on it cause they had to being it to me) in oct of 92 and i was 22 at the time

My son is a new 1st gen guy. At the ripe old age of 18. I think i have been a bad influence on him. He even says i scare him when i side step the clutch on the GTX. :D :D

I got my 90 in August 94. She had 103k and I ran the ticker up to 306k. That's when the rear end became steel salad. Greenleaf got a replacement rear end and now has her up in Ohio.

I got my 93 in Oct 01, with 125k. She's now up around 250k and until I get the money and opportunity for a W250, I'll keep going to the million mile mark.

Old?

Well I'm a little older than TugBoatPhil (48) but since I've only had my truck for 5 months that should knock off quite a few years! :D

I stoped looking when I realized they were young enough to be my kids.

That'll do pig.

Candidate for oldest 36 valve award

There's no fool like an old fool, at least that's what they say! Some day I might even get old. I'm only a spring chicken of 63 yrs, been a diesel man for 25 yrs now. Wrenchin on rams keeps me young and happy. Only the transmission on my 91 has seen other mechanics hands, I do all the rest.

:) 91 ramw250, automatic, stock engine, rear half rebuilt after logging truck kiss, 400,000km and still tuff, 2"lift front, Blizzard plow 8/10', Amsoil products thruout. Front roof rotted out gone(typical), Duct tape and paint(good for three months) No die in this one. Reset valves just this yr(they were still within spec)

:) 2001 w250, auto,6" lift,brush guard,120,000mi, match cap to reg cab,

Got 12--24--Waiting 10 yrs for the 36 Oo.

Well I'm 21 now, but I joined when I was 17. Just got a new truck, after a year of being Cummins-less. Found a cherry '93 W250, CC, 5 speed, in white, in Denver. Drove it back to Vermont this past Thurs-Sat. Oh, and it's only got 75,000 miles now that I've returned from Colorado. I'll post pics ASAP.
