Manual seat to power seat convers.

What would it take to convert a manual seat to the premium power seat? Wiring? Power motor? Switches? Does any one know? My dad has been looking for a pickup ever since I showed up with mine. We found one today that is an exact fit... . except it does not have the premuim (power) seat. Could this option be installed by the dealer?

Seat conversion

I looked into this for my truck. I had an 05 ST (no power anything) and wanted the center storage with the premium cloth (power seats). I wanted to see what would be involved in the conversion and it wasn't hard all the wiring is there except for a "keyed power source" needs to be located. Also the harness is the type that can be disassembled and reconfigured, I took the liberty to find out which wires go where but all that went to the new owner of the truck when I sold it. (A fellow TDR member bought it not on the forum thought). I could contact her and see if I can get you a copy if you'd like. Other than that it should just be a bolt-in. I had bought the entire front seat assembly just for the center storage, and intended to re-sell the seats on ebay.
