i know i'm being a pain tonight but i'm having problem's and getting frustrated . anybody know how to wire a switch so i lock the converter at will ??? i seen it somewere a couple ofweeks ago but don't remember where ??? thanks again and i will stop writing

god , no , don't do it ... . sillier question , WHY do you want one ???? do you have an exhaust brake ?
 
John is right in that you don't need one it you don't have an exhaust brake. If you have an exhaust brake it's useless without the switch or some other way to maintain TCC lockup while braking. So if you have an exhaust brake and don't want to spend the money on a more effective way to lock the TCC you have to realize that it will shorten the life of your transmission if missused. The key to this is to not missuse the thing. Don't force lockup in heavy pulling situations or hard excelleration. If you have a stock TC that is hard to resist.
