How can I get the mystery switch to lock up my torque converter clutch in manual 2nd or even 1st gear? I have a Pro Lock torque converter and a Transgo shift kit installed in my "beefed up" 47RE transmission. I know there are valve bodies for sale that advertise manual lock up. Any ideas besides buying an aftermarket valve body?

DTT does not promote forced lockup for hard acceleration or full throttle because the lock up clutch system cannot handle it no matter what anyone tells you.

Our lock up programs are designed for light to moderate driving conditions and decelleration.

With lock up in first or second gear the life of your tc and transmission will be greatly reduced.

Thanks, Bill.

I intended to use TC lockup in 2nd for pulling my 13K lb. 5w to the top of the mountain and exhaust brake it down, not for lighter duty driving. Guess I'll be content to leave things as they are.
