While towing my 8000lb 5th wheel in one of the worse places in the U. S. (half way between Needles CA and Barstow CA) My check engine light came on and the engine lost nearly all power #@$%!. I managed to make it home and pulled the following codes:

P0237

P1693

P1694

P1698

I have an appointment at Dodge tomorrow but would like some info on what it could be. I know where the MAP sensor is, and the connection is ok. Any other ideas

2001 2500 Cummins TD, 75k miles,

Well, it cost me $1500 for a new MAP and Lift pump only to find that it is still running like crap just like it was. SO... .....

The still have my truck, now it looks like the VP44 failed too. Warranty will cover that at least.

This will be my 2nd VP44 in 76k miles.

Dodge replaced the VP44 (warranty). Ran good for 300 miles, now running like crap again! Back in shop this morning.

I think I may buy a Chevy
