I really do not know what your problem is. But obviously you have one. I have towed travel trailers in the 10K weight range with a 96 12V 2500 for 125K miles all over the lower 48 and AK, and an 03 2500 for 12K over the lower 48 without any complaints on power. Both were kept stock all the way with manual trannies and I towed in overdrive until I started losing momentem on inclines, which was not all that frequent. I feel the trucks have done all I bought them to do and have not felt a need to "bomb" either. I can keep up with traffic and in most cases and I can pass many which are laboring on inclines. And I do not have to be my own warranty station.

My truck has the same problem. My truck while towing up steep grades in NV, UT and CA my truck temp gets up to 215 degrees last mark on temp gauge before the red zone in 95-115 degree outside heat air off. I only way to avoid it is too sift all the way down to 2nd gear (6 speed) and go only about 15-20 MPH (what a drag). I am only towing my Jeep on a 16 foot trailer with a combined weight of truck and trailer around 14K. I do have super mental injectors and the EZ, but my EGT's while climbing the grades do not ever go over 1150 degress, but engine water temp still gets way too hot. How do I know if the fan clutch is bad or the thermostat? Could it be because of the injectors even if egt's do not go over 1150 degress?

Thanks,
