I know this has been covered before but could someone tell me if the MAP and IAT sensors are pressed in or threaded? Thanks in advance.

both are threadded..... the IAT takes a 13/16th deepwell socket (spark plug socket works real good) and the MAP is bigger... I believe 1 1/8 or 1. 25... someone else will know for sure.

Both are on the drivers side towards the rear of the engine. Sort of above the lift pump and back a bit. I believe they are the only two sensors back there.

I guess I could pull the connector and look for myself, but I wonder if those connectors are the same? I mean could a person make a mistake and plug his Edge EZ into the IAT sensor instead of the MAP?

If that's possible, I wonder what kind of damage could result? The ECM would still see the correct boost, but the Edge EZ would be way off and might be sending faulty info the ECM about intake air temp.
