Today I threw a 237 code. I have a EDGE juce w/attitude and the monitor showd no boost. The weird thing is it also showed no EGT. The turbo is spooling, but we have real slick roads and I cant't get on it to see what my power is like. I'm headed to town to get stuff to air test the intake system. If thats fine, Would the Map sensor affect the EGT reading or could another box be bad? I'm supposed to head out Tuesday on jobs for a couple of weeks and have to get it fixed !

I airtested fine. Cleared codes and started it. Instant code. Disconnested the edge- main plug and MAP plug. Started and no code. Plugged the edge back in and no code again. The edge boost reads 4lbs lower on the low end and 8lbs lower on the high end compared to the mechanical boost gauge. Do I need to pick up a new MAP sensor before I head out on the trip?

Recleaned all connections and isn't codeing anymore. The edge boost still reads low. Can the MAP sensor get "weak" before it dies?

I've wondered that as well.

I have a 0-100 boost and I'm curios if it's just the fact that it's such a large sweep or not. but when the gauge says 10psi, the TST box says 6 or 7-ish.

it's about 3 psi differnece. . the close to 20psi + the numbers are closer.

You can pull the map sensor and clean it with carb spray. Cheaper than buying a new one and will help to isolate the map if it is the map.

Just got back home. Put 1000 miles on the trip. No more problems, so cleaning everything seems to have taken care of the code. Still have differences in boost readings. I'll have to wait til I have more time to dig into that more.
