Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) map senor problem

I was drive my 24v over the weekend the boost drop 10 to 13 psi from 33psi to 20 psi of boost. stopped the truck check for leaks. none was found . last night changed the fuel filter and seen the map senor was broke. is there anything i can do to fix besides 100$ senor. all it has on it is a edge box.

I bought a map sensor brand new in factory mopar box on ebay for $10... . just a thought. I bought it as a backup because I know I will need one some day.
