MAP sensor AGAIN!

The map sensor has turned the CEL light on again! Cleaned it while waiting on the new one, back on in less than 100 miles. Put the new one in this morning driving around in the blizzard like conditions in 4 WD. I left it idle for a little bit while loading up for my 16 trip tomorrow and the light is back on!! Anyone have any ideas what or why this is happing????

How about Year and Make? Mods? Deleted? You may be under stress form the up coming trip, just don't emotions overshadow logic. it probably a simple fix.

Sorry! 2010 65,000 miles all stock except for a K&N
I believe it has had the egr filter cleaned or what ever Dodge does, It had a new DPF a little while back (was stolen)
Trip is post poned for a day or two IL is writing tickets for being on the road!

How long has the K&N been installed...I hope you are not going North....

Map light was on when I looked at the truck, cleared it and it came back on again couple of days later and still on when I picked up the truck.
I drove it for a few days changed the oil filter and fuel filter. When on a 1000 mile trip light was on most of the way there (PA). and all the way back as I did not have a scanner at that time.
Cleared the light. Changed the oil and filter, sucked out the power steering and brake fluid and filled with new, installed the K&N. Light came on again with in a day or so, ordered a
new map sensor, tried cleaning it with carb cleaner reset and it came back on. Installed the new one back on again with in an hour.

Do you have the ability to Read the Boost and Intake Air/Manifold Temps?

I doin',t think so just have a small Matco reader. I do not run this truck hard and do not lug it I keep it shifted down to keep the RPM'S up

I'd ditch that K&N before the engine starts going south.
