I have a Edge Insight on my 2012 3500 6. 7l and when towing my 7,000# trailer up even a slight grade the MAP alarms in at about 35 and reaches about 39. The truck still pulls hard with plenty of power. The truck is stock with only the turbo inlet baffle removed so far with only 5,000 miles. Can someone enlighten me on this alarm and if it is problem, what should I be looking at?

When I got my Insight it did the same thing as yours did. It is just the default MAP sensor alarm setting for the Insight. Go into the alarm settings for the Insight and raise the alarm setting higher to avoid it going off everytime you run it hard. If there was an issue with the MAP sensor, I'm sure there would be a check engine light. You can also adjust the other alarm settings for the other gauges to your liking, for example the transmission temp alarm can be adjusted to the setting you want it to be, to warn you of it getting hot.

Thanks. I also heard back from Edge and they said the same thing. They say set it at 48 and there should not be any problems until it reaches this. Edge is pretty conservative out of the box...

It sounds like the MAP sensor is setup for other rigs. 39psi on the MAP is about 24 psi of boost, which is not dangerous. Set it higher than 45 and forget about it.
