Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) MAP sensor part #.

I have a ? as to the parts number at DC or cummins, I was attempting to remove the IAT sensor to clean it and mistakenly broke the plastic connector on the MAP sensor. The plug will still connect but you can see the metal contacts. DC wants $168, the cummins dealer says the boost and MAP sensor are not the same but will try to find the right using my engine #`s. Question is can I seal the connection w/ something or does anyone have any suggestions. PS: an earlier thread said cummins part # 3417030 will fit the 01 but is listed as a pressure sensor, and PN-4088226 for the 02, the dealer said these #`s "didn`t sound right.
