Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) map sensor

still having trouble with the the 24. what are the voltage values for the three wires going into the map sensor to see if it is bad

are you sure thats your problem?

that's about all i got left to check unless ive got a major ecm problem

yeah cause i think the ecm controls the voltage to the map but i dont have the numbers

are you getting any codes?

i dont know. the last time i had a map go bad i just went to autozone and had it read. i installed the new one by myself and i never had the comp reflashed

you just dont hear of too many maps going bad

so no check eng light ?

it has come on a couple of times in the last few months but it goes off. Ive got 125,000 miles and have been thru 4 of them

WOW 4 of them i have 95,000 on mine and never had a problem

i would check the wires and put another map in

sounds like your the map guy
