MAP sensor

What size socket is the Map sensor? Will cleaning the sensor help with slow responce and smoke.

The MAP needs a 32mm deep socket. ( Dunno what that is in ")



Smoke COULD be due to an defective MAP sensor. I would anyway check the IAT sensor first ( resistance readings ).



I've ordered a new MAP this morning. Will let you know the results.

I used a deep 1 1/4" socket and it worked fine - not sure if it's metric or US, but there wasn't much play with the 1 1/4"
