Looks like the last 2 turbos would be perfect as a competition single for our trucks... .

Got a price? I am guessing not cheap. :( Looks like about $2600.

I wander if DHRA and other bodies will consider that modification to the stock MWE groove??

Too small of an a/r on the turbine side. ;)

BTW, Justin I got those videos. Thanks!

The last 2 turbos are going to need some serious fuel to push them as singles.

does anyone know what the notches are in the turbo? looks pretty neat to me

Alot of the 7. 3 Powerstroke guys are branching out, and getting away from the ball bearing Garrett Gt38.

the new line of turbos from Turbonetics look great to me

how would the last 2 turbos on the list do on a twin setup?

Tom what size a/r housing would you suggest. I emailed a turbonetics dealer to see if the gtk-850 could be gotten with a . 96 a/r. Awaiting a response.

The holes in the charger are part of the anti surge. I don't see a MWE on it, but suspect they are allowing air into the charger for a similar use.

Probably way too expensive... But hey the local shops plan retirement after they sell you one charger...

Tom, please help Dan hes desperate to get his truck running with the rest of the boys around here... . :-laf :p

The last charger on the list is perfect for my type of truck with a . 96 A/R housing. . 81 is small I agree but perfect for the internet crowd that are weekend warriors with the sled.

You guys with the big rpm's can run a wastegate if need be.

DVD's: Your welcome Tom, I hope you guys enjoy them!

They would be on the small side for a twins setup. The last turbo would be ok for a small street set in the 500hp category.

Turbonetics has the best warranty so that is included in the price I'm sure. That and they're the only ones that have ball bearing turbos that live! The price probably isn't as bad as you might think, they're other chargers are priced pretty close to other mfg.

"Turbonetics offers a 1 year No-Fault/No-Hassle warranty on all of our products from the time of purchase. This includes all turbochargers, intercoolers, turbo systems, you name it. Even if you break your Turbonetics product racing, sens it in through the distributor that you purchased it from and we will fix it no questions asked. You won't find another warranty in the forced induction industry like it. We feel that our product is manufactureed to the highest standards possible and our warranty backs it up. "

I talked with some turbo guys today and they said very little difference in the compressor wheels between these and the standard GT series.

Zstroken, a . 96 would most likely work well with an auto and a looser converter. The . 81 will most likely light in the 2400rpm range. For a stick truck with big rpm's (street class) run the 1. 14 A/R .
