Which truck line would get squashed, RAM or GMC? I guess even if RAM stayed they would just be a Chevy with a different grill and badge.

I've read a few articles relating to this, FCA sure seems desperate right now. Sounds like hard times ahead for them, I'd wager the Jeep/Ram sales are about the only thing keeping them afloat right now.

Far as the truck line to get squished: Chevy, GMC an lock washer difference redundant brand, or RAM. So there would be two "brands" getting the axe. GM's wasted untold amounts of money making clone cars with just a different badge *cough cough* make. Far as I am concerned GM's still lost their way using Obsolete Drum Brakes on 1/2 tons, dropping Electronically controlled fan clutches, and an an inability to produce a quality product like a Tahoe that can't stay out of the dealer shop. GM is famous for having "The Real Blazer" due to constantly undersized wire usage in HVAC and window switch connectors. Even the HD trucks would burn to the ground over heated washer fluid wire size. Don't even get me started on worthless AC systems and cooling systems that can't cash the power check their engines write. They still haven't broken the extreme bean counter cheap mindset.

Worse GM thinks Communist China could make it's cars for the USA. Hmmmm... With GM's bean counter driven design I wonder if anyone would really notice.
