A Month!

A Month!! OHHHH, THe PaIN!, The AGOnY!,, How am I supposed to sleep at night?

I'm not going to have any finger nails by the time this comes out. :)

Just Joking.

That's really cool Marco. I like the settings.

Good to hear yall are doing well.

I think I'll get some DD3's to cure the itch in the mean time. .

Jponder, file two actually IS thought for mileage! The emissions, read smoke, is a side product of using less fuel...

About the future business relations. The only way you'll have to get a MAD ECM is through ADT! You can't get it from me directly. Also all the decisions on how to handle the commercial part is THEIR business.

Please don't swamp them with E-Mails now, they are already very busy! :D

Seriously now, it's not yet the moment to know more about the MAD ECM and how to get one. Let us first get to a finished and fully tested product!

Thanks for your interest!

csutton7,

The Dyno #'s weren't 100% accurate as they could only imput 6000lbs. so they needed to fool the dyno by changing other variables. And I heard that the Torque #'s were calculated so they could be off.

But if you were trying to compare with other trucks at the show it would still be a good base line.

The Dyno was also out side so a gust of wind could also increase your power with added air flow

Stefan Kondolay

I was thinking those torque numbers are awefully high. If it really makes 1300 lbs-ft torque, then peak horsepower power would have to be made at 1800rpm,not at the usual 2200-2400 that we're used to seeing.

Just for grins if you calculate 460hp at 2300rpm you get 1050 lb-ft torque... now that would seem more accurate.

Like Stefan said, the Dyno numbers were fairly inaccurate, especially on the Torque numbers, but it was a fairly good tool to compare trucks.

Besides, running on a Dyno sure is fun, but real world driving conditions are by far a much better means of product testing.

Stefan, it was great meeting you and the rest of the DTT crew this past weekend at Muncie.

I'll bet you'll never forget the feeling that you had while you were driving my truck when the throttle stuck WIDE OPEN while doing approx. 90mph. By the way, my Husky Liner floor mat was what was holding that pedal down, because it happened to me again later that night.

I know this is an Old Thread, but...

I just thought I'd drag this back... .

Marco. . how are things coming on the MAD ECM's... I know we will have to purchase through ADT... but I know U have been working hard at this... I just think that an ECM is better than an added on Box. . nuthing against the boxes. . they can add great power. . but I think the ECM can do it with more control. .

Is the ECM going to be upgradeable... like in a few years when U design the Mentally Instane ECM. . we send it in for an over haul???

Sorry for all the ????? I can just feel the power... :D

Thanks,

Bryan

Hi Gang,

I've been out for vacation over the last 3 weeks. :p

Other than my mental health, no progresses have been done lately. :D

Stay tuned more to come soon...

Marco

Good to here that it hasn't been all work for you ;) . We are all very excited about your product. Keep up the GREAT work!!:D :D

David

Marco,

I really feel that your MAD ECM is the way to go, but, I feel the need for speed. How much longer do we need to hold our breath? What shade of blue do I need to turn? LOL

Best wishes,

Eric

Things sure have changed.

When I typed this thread I was in warrenty and STOCK, (scary). Quite a bit of time has passed by, alot of things have happened.

The Twin Towers no longer exsist, terrorist threats are now real, the stock market nearly crashed, George Bush is our president, and now we are at war with Iraq.

We have '03's up in the 400+RWHP range, reliably.

2nd Gen 24V's have the Lift Pump problems nearly sorted out.

Piers has introduced more than 3 new turbo's to the market.

and, one thing hasn't changed,, 99% of BOMBed trucks arfe still running around with Stock ECM's and "add-on" boxes "Hanging" on to the side of our trucks.

MARCO!! Give us an update!! Heard a rumour that these ECM's may actually never make it to market? Whoa, don't give up on us now.

Tell us what's happenin' on your side of the world Marco?? Can you make it more exciting over here with your ECM's ?

Marco's MAD ECM + EDM Injectors + Twin turbo's + NOS + C-Ring head + Piers Cam + FMS Fueling box + power + power + power :D

Whats up?!?!?

Junior,

For the kind of power you're looking for, may I suggest a P7100 conversion. You can flow much more fuel than a VP44 can. All you need is some $$$$. . :D :D :D

Charles

ok, here is a question, does the mad ecm programming do anything about raising pressure of the fuel sent from the VP44 to the injectors? or is that only changable through the VP44 programing?

:)

It will do the same thing as the current batch of timing boxes.

If you want more, you have to tap the pump wire.

but this is just a guess:D

DF,

that's not a problem. I just was wondering this.

Times, they are a changing. ;)

Being that this thread is almost 2 years old I would have to say that the odds of this coming out are probably nill. Too bad since this sounded like a sweet product.
