Thanks, TDR Staff

Competition how many 600hp singles turbo'd

Competition Diesel Dragster anyone?

We had a pressure washer at work with a 6BT. It didnt have any AFC on top of the pump.

My guess would be the marine version would be similar.

sled puller, i believe the marine are 13mm but they don't have the double helix with more advance built into them. I think Piers has checked into these and it wasn't what he was looking to build or sell. Stupid pump or 215 is still the way to go.

Try finding the company listed in one of my earlier posts.

A company in Angleton, Texas, H&H Distributing, manufactures a marine conversion kit for the 5. 9, which includes water cooled exhaust manifold and turbo housing, heat exchanger, raw water pump, marine bell housing, flywheel and all necessary gaskets, brackets, and fittings. Engines from 1994-1997 Dodge trucks were 12 valve editions running 160 - 180 hp in automatic transmission equipped trucks, up to 215 hp for 1997 standard transmission trucks. An aftermarket horsepower boost kit for the Bosche injector pumps allows the horsepower to be raised in increments up to 275 hp, and well over 600 ft lbs of torque. H&H also offers a raw water cooled aftercooler to further enhance the engine's performance. H&H has a conversion kit available for the 1998 and later model 24 valve Dodge truck Cummins engines - the only one available for this powerplant. I am running a pair of 5. 9's boosted to 250 hp, and using the H&H aftercoolers.

They would have a better idea on the difference in 7100 injector pumps.

Gene,

Yes, the Marine370B does run the p7100, and I might be able to get more info, inquire within :D Although..... I think that a p7100 that might interest you, a... . little bit more is the, big brother's, bad boy, 480Hp C8. 3 because guess what, that sucker runs a p7100 too, isn't that just totally interesting

Remember folks, these marine ratings are for "pleasure craft" where hours are limited for each year, and for every eight hours of operation, averaged into that should only be one hour of max power operation. Not that we don't exceed out ratings, it is important to note this, you can melt these engines down if you work at it.

I am running the 6BTA5. 9-M(SW) which is 280HP in my boat. It is a 5. 9 block but it has the following commercial rating.

Medium Continuous RatinG: This power rating is intended for continuous use in variable load applications where full power is limited to 6 hours out of every twelve hours of operation. Also reduced power operations must be at or below 200RPM of the Maxim rated RPM. This is an ISO 3046 fuel stop power rating and is for applications that operate 3000 hours per year or less.

Same blocks but different ratings.
