I turned on my lights tonight and all i have is head lights, my brake lights and turn signals all work fine. Any Suggestions on what to look for?

Head light switch

I went through this 2 months ago. Head light switch. This was a recall item on 1-ton trucks. Dealer has replaced mine twice in 2 years. If you wiggle the switch it may get them to come back on for a while.

Thanks for the quick responses!!! Is the headlight switch chrysler only part? I think what burned it up was i put on a new set of fog lights and spliced into the trucks marker lights and it wasn't long after that the switch started to have a sticky feeling when i went to pull out on it to trun on the headlights. How does this relay hook up to protect the headlight swtich? Oh well i guess i will learn from my mistakes!!

The thing you do is use the output from the headlight switch to trigger a relay. The relay is used to connected a fused 12 volt supply to the lights. The relay only draws about 1/10 amp for the trigger circuit. The headlight switch can handle that ok.

Nfox, i had the same thing happen to me but my headlights went out while i was driving and only had fog lights for a 100 miles from home. The part is from the dealer and runs about 75 bucks with the fog light switch, i have one from my buddies 99 that was wrecked. I will sell it to you for 40 shipped to your house, if your interested pm me. Corey:D :D
