Martinsville - One Stuck Ford

It took three Dodge Cummins 4x4's to pull this guy out. How he got stuck I don't know. I'll attribute it to bad luck, beer or a combination of both.

I didn't see them get this truck out, I got there a little too late. Damn beer run. DOH!!!! It was a pretty steep hill and they dug up some gravel. The funky thing about it was there was a guy by each Dodge and they agreed to go on a three count That's alot of courage late on a Saturday afternoon at a Winston Cup track campground. Or more likely alot of beer. :-laf The first truck in the tow line was a Power Ram. Somebody else, I think another Ford snapped a winch line earlier in the day. Can you imagine the suction around the tire and front axle. :{

I'm sure the need for three trucks was not a power problem but a traction problem. Power does no good if the tires can't bite - and wet grass and mud can be the same as a sheet of ice. Whoever painted the road said it all.
