Mason-Dixon TDC Annual Picnic, July 30th - Who's Coming?

For those Mason-Dixon TDC Members who may not know, our annual picnic is being held this year (again) at Fort Frederick State Park in Big Pool, MD, on Saturday, July 30, RAIN OR SHINE.



Please post if you will be attending, and what "covered dish" you wish to bring. Grilling meat and fried chicken is spoken for, but feel free to bring other food drink. I have cut and pasted a post from our website here:

anyone planning on camping should make their reservations SOON

large level sites,no hook-ups,potomac river is viewable from sites. also a tent area for those who really like to rough it.

C & O canal

FOUR LOCKS (canal gates)

dam 5

BIG POOL fishing lake(small boats,no gas motors)(boat/canoe rental)

McCOYS FERRY large boat access to potomac(within 3 miles of park

toe path/western md bike/hike trail

tours of FT. FREDERICK(small fee)

I will definitely be there. I will be trying to bring a hot dish since I live so close the the park. Also Scott, please try to remind me to slide you some money towards the grill fund. I was hoping to see you at Turbo's farewell party to give you some but didn't.

it will be here tomorrow, plus i aint drivin a ford. it sucks when all i need is a simple little oil fitting that is on a nation wide back order.

i did call you, i left 2 messages and prob called 3-4 times. i went to local hydraulic shops and they said that it was a metric fitting with a taper and that they could prob make one, even went to daveys house and asked him. closet dodge that had one was washington state. they are on a 7 day back order from detroit. it will be here today they the beast will live again, it sucks how somethign so small and stupid as an oil fitting (that i had in the first place) causes such big delays.

The one you are referring to is the top feed line right? Colliflower hydraulic supply out in Frederick and Williamsport has them, trust me, we have had our hands on them recently. I wish I would have known you were looking I would have hooked you up with some the same day. I bought some for my buddy up in Clearspring for his turbo. Summit Racing has them also. Chadd is another one that knows where to get all this stuff.

that is where i checked and they said that they couldnt help me bc of the odd size that it was. i even called chad on his work line, but never got a return call. o well if by chance that this one that got delivered today isnt the right one then i will call you and you will have to hook me up. it is killing me not driving this thing.

i may be able to bring one, i got half a 450 lb hog in the freezer. just not sure if i will have time to cook it. i will know as time gets closer. o yeah, UPS finally showed up, truck is a screamin demon again.
