This is usually our Pre-Fall Brawl show for any brand of diesel who would like to either sit in the sun and shine or try your hand at taming the "Humbler". Many owners have tried unsuccessfully to tame the jet with only a few able to do it. The "Humbler"s house diesel records for those to try and change are Jetpilots former "Slick Black Bottle Rocket" at 886hp on drugs set a few years ago and F8TLDOSE's 789. 4hp on fuel only last year.

The BBQ will be a covered dish affair as we always do it so lets all post also what we would bring along for food that day. This show has been getting bigger each year and has something for everyone. As always we have complete use of the shop also, just remember those who work inside we ask that you dyno. Dually owners will need to drop off the outside tires and stack owners will have to either drop their flex pipes if they have them or allow us to slide tubes on so we can get as much outside as possible. Tools will be available to do either job at the shop free of charge, just remember to put away what you use.

See those who come there and as always this is a rain or shine event... ... . Andy

Thanks for posting Andy, and you know I'll be there, and will bring whatever food, baked goods, etc. that we may need as we get closer

As usual, my boss knows about this. Wants to send me away for 3 weeks, so I'm gonna miss this one. I do, however, have this monster grill sitting in my garage, for just such an event. If someone wants to pick it up, or I can drop it off...

Only 2 weeks away, so who's gonna be there, and who's bringin' what?

Jim

I am not sure yet if I will be going. If I go, I can drop the grill off, but I am not sure of who will be taking it from the event. I probably won't be staying for the whole event if I do go.

sorry guys, cant make this one..... eat some good food for me. . oh yeah and john can drink my share of beer :-laf :-laf :D someone better post some pictures... .

im gonna try and make this one guys, i dont get off work till 12, and its my mom's birth day that day as well :{ :( . oh well i know its just a pre event but its always good to see everyone again.

With work TRYING to make me run this weekend my boss and I had a rather, hmmm how would you say this, heated,ya heated, discussion on how I would not be there this weekend to run. I was made to run extra last weekend so I didn't have a problem and almost got one stuck to me. All along I thought this UPS buying us would be a good thing, they throw 45% more freight across our already stressed dock and we get made to run all we can, sheesh.

At any rate,I will be there and should be bringing some of my "homey" burgers and possibly some boneless chicken. Will see everyone who comes there that day... ... Andy

yeah, thats an UNDERSTATEMENT! harrisburg needs a bigger dock... .coming from a hub terminal to an "end of the line terminal" has been an eye opener. those guys here in san antonio think they have it bad. let them work one day in a hub and i bet they change there minds :-laf

Results and Notes From The Show....

Well with a rather gloomy start due to rainy weather abound and all around it looked like at one time very few would show. As it turned out about 25 trucks were on hand with the Fords almost out numbering the Dodges. It was nice to see so many Ford owners and so many new faces in the crowd. Well 25 trucks on hand with 13 dynoing and one going twice so here are the results from yesterday best hp/tq readings, the boards they represent and in no particular order. Sorry for the delay in posting them but after being up for 36 hours and then taking some medicine for my shoulder I slept from 3pm until 7am today. Now that the cobwebs are cleared out I may muddle through this,LOL.

Notes...

The grill turned out to be a great club addition and the rookie cooks,Dockboy/LMills,did a wonderfull job with it. Thanks go to the store runners who got the couple of missing items needed. Thanks also to Sherry for keeping it in her big shop.

Thanks always need to go out to the ENTIRE Kauffman Motorsports crew for hosting and allowing us the entire use of the facilities. Dave,Chris and Bags were on their toes and made the show go off flawlessly and without a hitch.

WannaDiesel was off in the shop doing his deed and making another KDP disappear. He told us that one made 39 he has sent to their death before they killed the owners mighty Cummins motors. For those who have never seen Dave do this job it is one to watch. The jig he has and way its done amazes me how swiftly he can get it done. Most of us wouldn't have the fan belt off in the amount of time he has the entire deed done. Thank you Dave once again for providing your expertise.

Lots of stories throughout the show while it was happening. Will was working hard to get 2 rolls in,the second was plateless. The 12 valve owners in attendence now can see how little a difference the removal of the plate meant for power. I know Will was a tad dissappointed as he had done some more mods(new SBC DD and a Adkin's 55) but it will come around and he will find the tune for the big number he is seeking. Lloyd and his "sleeper" 05 ride with Iceman's old twins had the big numbers for the day and he almost caught his idol Dockboy for power and torque. Guess that means Greg will be off burning the midnite oil to make sure he keeps Lloyd in line at Fall Brawl.

All in all and great show and a beautiful day meant alot of fun for those who attended. Thanks gang and see you all at the Brawl... ..... Andy

Lots of tinkering definitely needs to be done, something big's not right. I too was pretty surprised by the whole plate thing. Anyway, hopefully get my bike all finished up tomorrow and I can get my extra head torn down and cleaned up, prepare for o-ringing and a stud job, start doing some serious tinkering :)
