INPUT Is Needed ASAP..

To those who are coming to this show...

Well I am about as shocked about this when the call came to me earlier tonite and do not know what to say. Its a unfortunate turn of events I did not expect and now will need input from those here to help decide on what we do next. Its not fair to Kauffman's if we drag this out and cancell at the last minute so those who are interested need to help decide if we continue or cancell it. To continue there are some things we will have to different which is no big deal to me. To have this show now we will do it "Old School " style and just make it a dyno rip,BBQ,B. O. M. Bing session and fill it with a huge amount of BSing(complete with pictures of Lloyd trying to sabotage Dockboy's Phord again,since the rumors are he was so scared of Greg's Phord he traded to a truck with less power and his dually is gone now). No prizes will be handed out and no contests will be run,it will just be a roll and eat day.



With that said,to do this we will need to post what food we are going to bring and make sure we don't run out this time. I will also need to have a couple of gas grills brought in as I don't have the funds to rent the big one we used at Fall Brawl since I am not working,nor,can I lift it right now to bring it up. We will also need a couple of volunteers to cook and someone to help me in the bay. I,myself,say we roll old style and have a fun time anyway. Its up to all of us to decide so post up your decision or food to be brought if you want to keep it in place. Lets hear it folks,what do we want to do?... ..... Andy

Now I KNOW I will find a way to make it,LOL. I didn't get enough of those the last time before they were all gone and will make a much better effort this time. So tell me then Steve,If your bringing me the hot sausages for sandwiches what are you bringing for everyone else,LOL. Best thing I can tell you Steve is call Dave at the shop and ask him what time they will be there to the Friday before. If you need a number let me know and I'll make sure you have it to call them.



Now for some other news of important interest and something I did forget about...

Now,with his unexpected departure one thing I completely forgot about was the stack guys. Scott was supposed to do the assembly on the set of tubes which would allow those owners to spin without dropping their flex tubes,if they had them. We now will not have the time to get anything done to make that happen so those who can not drop a pipe underneath may be out of luck to dyno. I know this is a not the way I wanted it to happen as I am for all to be able to spin and enjoy themselves. We are working to try and have something ready,but,do not count on it. I hope this will not change any stack equipped owners decision to come and hope they show to enjoy the day anyway. If anyone has a idea on what we could do to get by feel free to speak up and give me some ideas.



Well the show will go on and we will all enjoy ourselves and thanks for the offers of help. BTW Jim,I wouldnt have it any other way and knew you would step up and bring old faithfull to cook on,thanks... ..... Andy

Update

Wanted to give everyone an update of Nancy Kauffman's condition. She started her chemo on Monday and is doing well. Yesterday wasn't as good as Tuesday, but she is doing much better today. She said there will be good days and bad. She still has her great and uplifting attitude that will get her through this. Thank you to everyone for their thoughts and prayers. They are working!

Hope to see everyone at the show on the 30th.
