Mass Diesel Trans Cooler line kit????

Has any had problem with leaking at the conections with this setup. I talk to scott last week about my problems with leaks he said to start at the top and work my way down when tightening and to use teflon paste. I have now had it apart five times and cannot get it to stop leaking at the flared fittings. At this point I don't trust going very far with the truck and feal like I have wasted my money. Has anyone else had these issues????

Have had mine installed for two years with no leaks. I did not use anything on the flare fittings. Are you sure you did not go overboard when you tightened them?Like plumbing type fittings snug and just a little more is just enough.

I did them all at 13lb. Them I kept tighening to try to stop the leaks. Do you think that the fittings are no good now?

If I had to guess I would say yes. Mass Diesel has sold a lot of these lines and I have not heard of any leaking till yours. Maybe if you install your original line back on and send your leaking line back to them they could give it a once over and tell you what they think the problem is. Never know you might get another one sent for the price of shiipping. Good luck with your situation.

I've had mine on for almost 5 years with out any problems. You may have split one of the flares and a hair line crack in the flare will seep.

Had mine done by scott at mass diesel also and no problems - about two years ago.

Check for a cracked line at the flare fitting, I had a slow leak this Spring that eventually became a major leak when I tried to tighten the fitting. Luckily this happened in the driveway, after getting back from 4 weeks at Hatteras and Assateague Island camping and driving on the beaches.

I had the very same problem with a line that I purchased from them. I call them and explained the problem and they sent me a new line that has been on for 3 years now and no problem
