Cant seem to find the plastic line that runs from the master to the slave for my clutch, anyone have a part number,or know of something else that will work. Dodge wants to sell me everything I have a new master and slave but the line is cracked.
a hydraulic store will not be able to get your the hose between the slave and the master. Call Southbend Clutch. They sell the entire setup or by the piece. If you go to the stea errrrr, the dealer they will make you buy the whole setup for several hundred dollars.
sure a hydraulic hose shop will be able to hook you up. All they need are the two ends of the hose and the pressure that you will be running at and the length. This is exactly what I did for my conversion. I went to the shop with a the measurements for a chevy master and a dodge slave and the length and they made me a hose. You can also spec it out to be braided if you like or many other combinations.
I had some problems with my hydraulic system. Bought the new slave and master seperate. Then the line started leaking. I didn't know that the hose could be bought from south bend so i bought the new setup from the dealer. It is pre bled which made it nice since there is no bleeder on the slave cylinder. I think dodgeparts.com sells the whole setup for $260. Seems pricey but bleeding the system is tough (I did it about six times until i found the leak in the hose. ) Just my $. 02
