I have only seen 38 PSI on my truck, what have all you other ETH owners seen?

I think 45-50 psi would be safe before the head floats off. . what do you think?

ETH's have Higher Compression thatn ETC's ?

With my stock HX-35 w/12 housing I would see 40PSI daily.

Two sides to every story.

At 37-38 PSI of boost the HX-35 turbo is heating the compressed air to 400*. I don't think the intercooler can sufficiently cool down air that is that Hot, which would mean the motor is still intaking hot air.

My EGT was also insane. 1600*F EASY. 1800* wasn't that hard to do 60-100MPH WOT and 1800*F was there.

At 1400* water temp rises, at 1800* for two seconds water temp raises to the peak of safe range.

I now have a PDR '40 and it cooled the EGT 400*. (From 1800*)

I see 45#'s with mine daily, and yes it is the stock HX-35. EGT's are controlable, except when drag racin' or sled-pullin'. I tow regularly, but no mountains here in Michigan. BTW, I have allready replaced the head gasket,( which I torqued to 130#'s) however it was an oil galley issue, not the compression.

And to think, I was worried because I saw 29 psi after EZ and boost elbow. You guys have set my mind at ease - - - I won't worry so much any more about my "lowly" numbers, even if they are 50% higher than stock
