Installed my sps 66 last week, and per the attitude, only 36 psi max.

Edge says maximum reading on the attitude is 40-42 psi.

Anyone else have an attitude and seen over 36 psi readings?

Either my attitude stops at 36 or I'm light 14 psi. . :{

14 psi or 4-6 psi?

14 plus 36 = 50psi...

I'm just wondering if I am only getting 36 psi, and the turbo is supposed to give me 50, then I'm 14 light (figuring the 36 is an actual max boost being seen)

New math

I've also seen 38 psi on my Juice/A with a stock turbo. Could need tweaking with the wastegate. I just bought a B1-2 but I have not installed it yet so I would like to hear your feedback on the Phat 66.

Hey I posted on the other thread but your reading light, got to be. No way that 66 is only making 36psi, with a load of fuel 50lbs is more like it.

36 is possible if you have a boost leak or the wastegate opening early. The factory MAP sensor is good to 39-40 psi.

I have a B1-2-04 and with the Edge boost elbow I got 40#'s on the Attitude, but drive pressure was too high, on a 60# isspro boost gauge, the needle went all the way around to the 2 o's in the word boost at the bottom of the gauge, so I put the stock elbow back in and now I get 39#'s of boost on the Attutude and the drive pressures went down to 52#'s. Not perfect but better. :D

I see 41 psi all the time on level 5 at wot. on my 05

Hasselbach - I have never seen a boost reading greater than 36 psi on my attitude. In fact, I too initially felt that their might be something wrong with my IIPS62 wastegate or plumbing (intercooler/hoses).

I bought an autometer mechanical boost gauge (as jwilliams suggested) to re-confirm pressures and noted boost approaching 50 psi.

I would definitely recommend buying a mechanical gauge if no obvious leaks are present. Your IISPS66 should be wastegated at 50'ish PSI, and should reach it pretty quickly once spooled.

Doesn't the Attitude pick up boost from the MAP sensor?

According to the TST manual:

"Be aware that the R49 remote reads the boost value from the

stock MAP sensor, which has a maximum of 40 +/-2 psi. "

Get a mechanical gauge. I think you'll see what boost you're really generating.

Thanks, I ordered the gauges today to confirm. Otherwise, I need to crank up the boost. What's the manner to increase the boost? Isn't there an elbow which has an allen bolt in it?

Thanks again. Knowing you only saw 36 psi will make me sleep better tonight.

40 +/-2 psi = 38 psi. But I'm only showing 36 psi. Hopefully, as others have stated, 36 is a common max number sometimes seen. Otherwise time for more mods???

I'm going camping tomorrow, but when I get back I will compare boost levels between the Attitude and a mechanical DiPricol. When I checked the drive pressure, I went ahead a drilled and tapped the intake horn to double check the boost with a mechanical gauge. Just haven't gotten around to check it.

You are going to see the 50lbs you want when you put the mechanical guage on. I bet your SOP dyno already tells you that your getting way more power.
