Hello,
I have read that the stock lift pump fuel pressure on my 04. 5 Dodge is about 10 psi. I am going to be installing a second fuel system for use with biodiesel and straight vegetable oil. I have a great lift pump (made for oil movement Shurflo brand) for the alternative fuel system, but it puts out about a max of 32 psi. Will this higher amount of pressure hurt the CP3 pump (or anything else for that matter)? Should I regulate it down to like 12 or 15 psi or can I use this pump like it is? What do you all think? Thanks in advance for any input.
