I need to know what weight I can safely carry in the bed of my truck (see Signature). I want to get a load of landscaping blocks in one trip from Menards and these will weigh about 2500lbs.

My truck has the HD camper springs and sway bay.

Just worried that Ill hurt something, thanks for any advice.

That's all?

I carried 5000 lbs. of stone this summer and it wasn't a problem. Didn't even get to the overload springs. Sure rode nice. :D

I have had over 3500# behind the axle on mine and it rode and drove fine, down about 6" in the rear is all. No camper springs on mine or swaybar either.

We put 8000 lbs on our 3500's, I'd think 2500 lbs on the 2500's

be like a walk in the park. Specially with the overload springs.

We put 2500 #s in Feed all the time.

It would haul more but that is all I want to unload at a time:D

I run 70mph with no problem.

Sure Glad I have E-brake
