Max safe boost for stock HPCR head gasket?

Can some one refresh my memory on this. I'm shopping turbos and can't for the life of me remember the max safe pressures...

I want to say it's around 50 psi, but don't hold me to that.

Ask some of the aftermarket turbo producers

I would call some of the aftermarket turbo and fueling box producers. I'm sure they've had lots of experience blowing head gaskets.



I would be too worried to speculate. I've had my wife's at 38psi and that's plenty for me.



I would also post in the 3d Gen engine/transmission thread.
