max tire psi?

What is the max tire psi I can run in stock tires on my 05 3500 drw ctd 4x4 front and rear? I am running like 68-69 psi in the fronts right now 55 psi rear no load or trailer.

I run 60 in the front, 80 in the rear. I tow a 5th wheel quite a bit. It is a little rough rideing when solo but it feels like a truck. Tires wear well, I useally get 50,000 or so.



Im new to this web site stuff. Have ben a member since issue 20 somthing. How do I

put my truck profile in ? hate to ask questions like this in this day and age. What the heck, you will probably never see me anyway.

I think I finally figuared out how to put my truck profile in. Just havent done it yet. Still put 80 in the rear, 60 in the front. 18-24 MPG solo. 11-14 MPG

towing. Rotate tires every 10,000. 98 12V auto. I will get better at this.

Just to be safe I am going to say read the side wall and make sure it says 80 psi.



I run 80 psi in the front tires because I hate how it handles with 65 psi or less in it and I just stuck a big front bumper on the truck as well.



Back gets around 60 psi but since I use the truck for running around empty a lot and sometimes will load a couple thousand pounds in it here and there this is a decent sounding pressure that seems to work fine.



The tires are on their last bit of tread for the most part and starting to look goofey anyway so I can't say my pressures have altered tire wear any.



I don't even know what the door tag recomends, I go off the sidewall for max pressure limits and then I go by how the truck handles and tire wear problems if they show up.

The fronts MAX are 65 with the heavy Cummins. I tow with mine and rear are set to 55. Remember your splittng the weight on rear 4 ways. Up to 80 psi rear is with cargo/bed to FULL GVW.
