I need help. While replacing my shocks I noticed the bushings on my sway bar links are torn and completely worn out. I can tighten the link nut down all the way with no resistance. I could throw the bushing in the trash and it would make no difference. I have a 2" lift on the front. Should I just buy new bushings? The Maxx Link is advertised for lifted trucks. Seems like a good purchase. Any ideas out there?

I replaced my sway bar links with the Maxx Links, they are a GREAT product. I have a 2" Leveling Kit on my truck, I got the ones for a lift, can't remember if it was something like a 2-3" ??? Anyway, they bolted up nicely and have been on my truck for about a year, still look like new.

Installed a set a couple of years back. I did feel some improvement and still no noticeable bushing wear to date. i would recommend a set to others that are considering replacing the stock units.

I've been a bit disappointed in the Maxx links. I don't thrash my truck, but the bolts have bent a little at the bushing ends. The bolts may be a bit soft and need to be upgraded. I decided to upgrade and found that Tuff Country is making a 0-6 inch adjustable link that looks simular to the high end links for just over $100. I have yet to put them on, so my final verdict is still out.

Maxx Links better than OKAY story

I put Maxx Links on both my 05 Ram 3500 plus on my 99 Ram 1500 gasser. Shortly after the link on the LH side of my 99 1500 broke. I raised this with Geno's and Maxx Link and they immediately shipped my a replacements set and at my request included Grade 8 bolts for the replacement set and for my 05 Ram 3500.

What we both agreed happens here is that in long travel suspension situations at the extreme ends of travel there may be enough binding to either bend or break the bolt in the link. The 99 Ram 1500 maybe bounces more than the heavy front end on the 05 Ram 3500?

Anyway these are a great product, they fixed me up right away with no hassles. I think that maybe because I operate a cattle ranch some of our off road action is a bit tough on trucks. You should see the gravel road rash on my poor 05!
